Do not include any spam, offensive, or unrelated content in your reviews.
Nobody likes reviews that are meant to offend people. Make sure your review is helpful to other users browsing the product. For example, reviews containing copypastas, malware or advertisements would not be considered helpful. Furthermore, reviews not relating to a product’s current feature set are also removed as of this category; e.g. suggestions and questions.
Do not abuse the review system.
We value genuine, constructive feedback from users to aid the developer to grow; hence, using multiple alternative accounts to mass review products, or targeting unsolicited advertisements towards users, or artificially manipulating reviews through the vote or rating system is not allowed.
Do not include or link to sexually explicit content.
Top.gg works towards providing safe and family-friendly content and products towards our users.
Do not use reviews as a way to report violations.
This can be done through the usage of the report button on the community page, or through the inner provider (e.g. Discord). We want to avoid cases where users report products for malpractice without them getting properly handled and managed by a dedicated team.
Do not harass users or groups.
Top.gg is an inclusive platform, and with that, we try to care for all kinds of users. Avoid using a person’s heritage, religion, race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, affiliation, or disabilities in a negative light. This includes sharing personally identifiable information about users (i.e name, address, email, phone number, IP etc).
Do not promote, discuss or encourage the breaking of laws or our guidelines
We do not condone the promotion or posting of illegal or guideline breaking content, Please avoid posting any content that mentions or includes but not limited to: violence, fraud, illegal drug use, underage drinking, or child or animal abuse.
Do not impersonate other individuals or organisations.
We want to avoid any misleading and impersonation on our platform, because of this we do not allow the posting of impersonation content that misleads users.
Do not incentivise users to leave reviews.
Reviews should be an accurate reflection of a user’s experience - to encourage this, we don’t allow developers to provide incentives for reviews.
